Grandma Beene in a kitchen somewhere. I often times wonder how she managed to feed almost the entire Beene Clan when we made our frequent trips up to Dallas from Schertz. It seems like everyone came over for Sunday dinner and the men would eat first and then the women and kids. We all ate in the small kitchen and there was always plenty to eat as I remember. Those were the days before take out and drive thru so everything was cooked right there. She was a wonder.
