I am not sure where or when this photo was taken but I am guessing that they have been out shopping and Dad is bored to yawning and Mom is strutting.
It says Mom and Margaret "just home from the hospital". So that means this was taken mid December 1944 in Amarillo TX. I didn't think it got warm enough in Amarillo in December to wear short sleeves. I guess it did that year.
